Amish Puzzle Ball Pattern

Hi there. I started searching for a puzzle ball pattern. There were several but none that had print out patterns. The finished product looks intimidating and sometimes you just need to have the paper instructions handy (sorry trees).

Here are a few that I made. If you have used this pattern please leave a comment below and let me know your thoughts.

  2. This is a pattern I inherited from my grandmother. I have used it for years and blew up the pattern to make the ball medium and large. The large is too big to play with, but the medium and small are just right. I make them for all the new babies in church. I make them out of scraps from the church sewing and scraps where ever I can find them. If I have enough large scraps I make a scrap teddy bear to go with the ball.

  3. Thanks for the templates. This was my son’s request for his first child due to be born in a week. The one my Mom made for him 38 years ago is in sad shape. I had no idea this was his favorite until his request.

  4. Thank you so much – I was also trying to find a pattern and kept coming up with “infected” sites. I made these years ago for my own children and am now making for grandchildren. Blessings to you.
