I recently took a trip to Washington State. My mother, aunt and I spent some time visiting local craft bazaars. We had not planned our outing out but were pleasantly surprised with what we found.
Many of the places we found were in someone’s home garage and were collaborative efforts of a few talented ladies. I am inspired at the beautiful presentation and hospitality shown at these homes. The setting could have evoked a garage sale feel. Unexpectedly the bazaars felt more like a boutique than the garage that they were in.
We were welcomed with beautiful signs and displays, as we got closer. Once inside we were offered hot cider to keep the chill in the air out.
There was a nice mix of painted furniture, handmade crafts and vintage items. Too bad there is a weight/sized limit on passenger flights…total bummer.
